    Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

For patients who require special attention or intervention, Memorial Hospital Los Banos is equipped with an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) that is staffed to provide 24-hour care to patients who need to be very closely monitored.

Memorial was also an early adopter of a new life-saving technology called eICU, which supplements the intensive staff monitoring at Memorial with an added layer of remote monitoring. From an off-site location, a team of physicians and critical care nurses monitors our critically ill patients, and this team is in direct and constant communication with our local physician and nursing team.
